History

The European Polytechnical University (EPU) (Европейски политехнически университет) is a **private engineering and technology university located in Pernik, Bulgaria. Admission & Registration Process

1. Choose Your Program

Decide whether you are applying for a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral program at EPU and confirm the entry requirements for your chosen field.

2. Prepare Necessary Documents

Typical international applicant documentation includes:

  • Completed secondary school diploma (for Bachelor’s) or university diploma (for Master’s).

  • Transcripts of records (full grade history).

  • Passport photocopy.

  • Proof of language proficiency (English or Bulgarian, depending on the program).

  • Notarisation and apostille may be required for academic documents.

3. Submission of Application

4. Review & Acceptance

The university evaluates your submitted documents. If eligible, you’ll receive an admission confirmation or offer letter.

5. Ministry Permission (Non‑EU Students)

For non‑EU/EEA applicants, the university forwards your acceptance documents to the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science for the study permission letter required for the Type D Student Visa — an essential step before visa application.

6. Visa Application

After receiving the ministry permission letter, apply for the Type D student visa at the Bulgarian consulate/embassy in your country.

7. Arrival & Final Registration

Once your visa is approved, travel to Bulgaria, complete final university registration, pay tuition fees and begin your studies.
