Technical University of Sofia
The Technical University of Sofia is the largest technical university in Bulgaria, located in Sofia.
It was founded on October 15, 1945, as part of the Higher Technical School (later renamed the State Polytechnic). Since 1953, it has been an autonomous institute, and at that time the Polytechnic was divided into four separate technical institutes. The university received its current name and status on July 21, 1995. Today, it has 14 main faculties located in Sofia, Plovdiv, and Sliven.
The official representative of the Technical University of Sofia in Türkiye is Uni-Bulgaria YED. During the application and preparation of registration documents, the experienced team of Uni-Bulgaria YED will support and guide you throughout the process.

According to the Council of Ministers Decision No. 362 dated 05.06.2025:
All undergraduate and master's programs: €4,730 per year
Computer Engineering: €4,620 per year
Preparatory language program: €2,500
Tuition fees are paid in two equal installments at the beginning of the first and second semesters.
The required documents for registration are prepared and submitted to our authorized office. After your documents are reviewed, they are sent to our Bulgaria office for translation. Following the translation process, the documents are submitted to the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for approval.
After 5 working days, the documents are collected from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the university pre-registration is completed. Subsequently, an application is submitted to the Bulgarian Ministry of Education to obtain the official permission document required for the visa application.
After a waiting period of 4–5 weeks, the permission document is issued and sent to you. With this document and proof of accommodation, you can apply for a Type D Student Visa.
After another waiting period of approximately 4–5 weeks, you receive your visa and your education process in Bulgaria officially begins.

Students applying for degree completion (transfer) must also provide all high school documents, since the registration process is conducted based on high school documentation.
