The Technical University of Varna (Bulgarian: Технически университет Варна) is a state public technical university in Varna, Bulgaria, founded in 1962 by decree of the Bulgarian Council of Ministers and the National Assembly to educate engineering professionals for industry and technology sectors such as shipbuilding, transport, mechanical engineering, electrical power, and communication technologies. The institution evolved from earlier technical faculties and received its current name in 1995. Over its history, it has expanded its academic offerings and facilities, becoming the second largest technical university in Bulgaria, with thousands of students including a significant international population from countries such as Türkiye, Russia, Azerbaijan, and others.

International applicants typically follow these steps:
Online Application – Start your application through the university’s online admissions portal when the application period opens.
Upload Academic Records – Submit your high school diploma and transcript (or university diplomas if applying for advanced degrees).
Document Preparation – Once your academic credentials are reviewed, you prepare notarized copies with apostille and translations as required by Bulgarian authorities.
